Before operating a concrete pump truck, the bearing capacity of the foundation at the work site must be checked. The outriggers of the pump truck must be fully extended. When operating on hardened support ground, rubber pads with dimensions no less than 500mm × 500mm × 15mm must be placed under the pressure plates of each of the four outriggers. Three parallel sleepers with dimensions no less than 800mm × 200mm × 200mm must be placed under each outrigger's rubber pad. When operating on unhardened support ground, steel plates with dimensions no less than 2000mm × 1500mm × 20mm must also be installed, and a warning area must be established to prevent unauthorized personnel from entering. During operation, the foundation changes of each outrigger and the tilt of the pump truck must be monitored in real time. The tilt angle of the pump truck must not exceed the requirements of the equipment manual, and is generally no greater than 3°.
The explicitly prohibited items include: no one is allowed to stand under the boom of the concrete pump truck; concrete pumping operations are strictly prohibited during thunderstorms or winds of level 6 or above; it is strictly prohibited to install conveying pipes or hoses at the discharge port of the end hose; and it is strictly prohibited to use tower cranes to lift hoses for concrete pouring.
